Ashling v Stansted Park 23rd May 2010 Stansted won by 115 runs With a great many regulars missing it was the Craig Hillier Under -16 posse who took the field representing Ashling. No less than 5 teenagers made their debut. Unfortunately none of them could manage to contribute to the batting with only old-stagers Cranna (12), Harvey (12) and Balingal (14) giving the scorers anything to do other than record the tumbling wickets. Ashling had earlier offered a spirited bowling performance restricting the Stansted batsmen to 166 in two and a half hours. Were it not for Rogers' 95 there might have been a much more competitive game. Tom Balingal's 3 for 19 was the performance of the day with Henry Slatter weighing in with 2 for 34.
