After last week's shennanegans it was good to get back to a well-contested game played in a good spirit. Unusually the runs were shared around this week with top scorer Tom Sully (30) making his debut on arrival from Brisbane. Other contributors were Chris Cranna (29), Steve Harvey (25), Nic Loubser (21) and Paul Colley (20). Piers Burton-Page took 4 for 35.

After a solid start from Partington (14) and Newton (20), Steve Harvey took two quick wickets, finishing with 2 for 20, Tom Sully followed up his batting performance with 2 for 23, Nic Loubser took 2 for 26, but the bowling performance og the day came from young Henry Slatter whose 4 for 24 made all of the difference. Hicks' 82 looked like in might be a winning effort, but he fell short with 25 still required to hand ashling the victory.
