I had to arrive 20 minutes after the start of this game due to a drive down from Oxford, and by the time I got there Emsworth were 14 for 5 with Fergus leaping around like a salmon in the slips taking four catches. With Nic Loubser the main beneficiary (3 for 9) and Tom also benefiting (2 for 6) the fun bowlers had to be deployed to make sure the game lasted until opening time. Gray stuck aroung for 34 and Emsworth were eventually able to post some sort of total.

Nic Loubser went for 1 and Harry Quilter quickly followed - surely we couldn't....? Nope! Fergus reinforced his claim for man of the match with an unbeaten 74 (out of total of 97) while Messrs Colley and Stevenson had a turn at watching from the other end.
