Ashling v Bosham 10th July 2011 Bosham won by 108 runs May seems a long time ago now as Ashling slid to their fourth consecutive defeat. In fact this was the tale of one man, a man whose name shall be spoken down the generations of Bosham cricketers, and his name was PETERSON. His 147 was more than half of the runs scored in the entire game, and was the difference between winning and losing. Nic Loubser took 4 for 40, but it was PETERSON who caught the eye. A look down the Ashling scorecard sees number ten Peter Smith as the top scorer with 15. Everyone else was rubbish, ans could only look on in awe and wish that they could bat like PETERSON.
